| Float Collar and Float Shoe is a kind of casing and couple from which the buoyancy can be obtained. It can be used to replace the guide shoe and casing shoe because of it high temperature resistance, good seal, drill ability and is easy to make up. It is used not only in technical and oil layer casing but also in deep well, super deep and special technical wells. The float shoe is connected to the end of the casing string to replace the guide shoe. It works as a guide and back pressure valve. The float collar connects the casing string from 20-30 meters to the end of the casing string. The inner structure of the float collar and the float shoe is similar. The only difference is that the float collar is equipped with API casing threads at both ends. |
